The Association Chairman, Mr Rod Scott addresses those present and reads a letter from the Patron, HRH The Duchess of Cornwall. The context of the letter read out was that HRH The Duchess of Cornwall was proud to be Patron of the Association, especially in the year that commemorates the 70th Anniversary of El Alamein, in which her own father fought. She also wished that everybody there enjoyed the day and that senior officers of the 7th Armoured Brigade were able to attend to help keep the history alive. The parade is inspected by the modern day Commander of 7th Armoured Brigade. The parade is inspected by the Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk.
