  09   Work continues tiling roofs for N/Fs and 2 Devons. Sports meeting 1030 hrs to settle sports for units in H. Goering barracks. Desert Rat Theatre’s first night in Berlin – likely to prove popular.  
  10   Tiling continues; ladder not easy to procure and tiling from inside roof resorted to on occasions.  
      Practice parade of half tracks at 1545 with 4 FD. SQN. Cricket played.  
  11   Practice march past of our 9 half tracks with 4 FD. SQN. R.E. in CHARLOTTENBURG STRASSE 0700 hrs. Tiling continues, 25 of 2 DEVONS called in to carry tiles, stripping takes longer that replacing.  
  12   Practice march past of half tracks, with those of 4 FD SQN on barrack parade ground at 0745 hrs. Hours of work now extended from 0830 – 1000 – 1030 – 1345 and 1400 – 1645.  
  13   Ceremonial march past at noon, for which parade & OCs inspection 0920 hrs. Move Orde as serial

  14   Work continues roofing & destroying useless block in barracks. “Victory Parade” order
