Preparing for the parade and service. The public get ready. The parade led by the Drums of the Marine Cadet Band.

Rev (Flt Lt) Phil Layton BA MTh RAF starts the service The first Hymn is sung Commanding Officer of the Light Dragoons, reads a letter from HRH Duchess of Cornwall

The start of the two minute silence. The Standards are lowered

During the silence Reveille is sounded The Standards are recovered

An Auster flies over and drops poppy The first wreath is laid while a Lone Pipe plays Flowers of the Forest. (Video below) The Standard and Veterans line up for a photograph.

Association Chairman Mr. Rod Scott is presented with a model Challenger Tank for his time as Chairman, before he stands down an the Army take over the care of the memorial and organisation of the open day.
